Our farm, Oudshoorn Dairy Farm, is right in the heart of Westbeemster.

Just a stone’s throw away is the Cono Kaasmakers cheese dairy. Milk from our cows is taken there and processed using traditional methods to make delicious Beemster cheese.

Meetings

A meeting and viewing room in the cowshed, available to hire from Monday to Friday by half-day for up to 30 people. Including coffee, tea and something tasty.

Our farm and our land

A typical family-run business in the polder

As well as dairy cows, heifers, young cattle and calves, we also have sheep, chickens, a rabbit, cats and a dog. In 2017 we built a new cowshed with plenty of space, fresh air, light and comfort, which houses the meeting and viewing room.

We have been following Cono’s Caring Dairy programme for over ten years, and the polder in which we work has been a World Heritage Site since 1999.
