Lake Bamestra
Because of the draining of Lake Bamestra, and because of the use of an allotment pattern formed like a raster of squares ‘’The Beemster’’ finds its origin in 1612 AC. This unique allotment is still intact and is responsible for Beemsters notification as world heritage since 1999
Dairy Farm Oudshoorn
Our company is a family owned business. Beside dairy cows, heifers, blinks and calves we also own chickens, sheep, rabbits, cats and a dog. Every year in March our sheep have their new lamb.
Caring Dairy program
For over a decade we follow the Caring Dairy program of Cono. This is a sustainably program that has been developed by Cono and Ben & Jerry’s. Happy cows, happy farmers and a happy earth are the three key factors of this program. For more information about Caring Dairy check the website www.cono.nl.
New stable
In 2017 we built our new stable, which brings us much more space, light, air and comfort. Good for our cows and good for us! When we still used our old stable people came in all the time to have a look around. That’s why we decided to include a meeting/viewing space in our new stable. This allows us to show people around and tell them all about our farm life.
Meeting at Koezicht Beemster
Have a meeting with a view at the farm life? we make it possible! Koezicht Beemster is opened Monday till Friday, per day part for a maximum of 40 people. Coffee, tea and a (homemade) snack are included. As are the use of Wi-Fi a flip over board and a big screen television. Our farm provides more than enough free parking space.
Costs
Our fees are:
Up to 20 people: 200 Euro per day part, the second day part is 100 Euro.
20 to 40 people: 300 Euro per day part, the second day part is 150 Euro.
Lunch of a homemade soup (when possible made from products from our own land), sandwiches, rolls, fresh dairy milk, tea, Beemster apple juice and fresh fruit for 15 Euro per person.

Tours
We provide tours on Monday until Friday for groups up to 20 people. It is possible to include coffee, tea and a snack into your tour.
The fee for a tour of 1 hour with coffee, tea and a homemade snack is 9 Euro per person.
The tour can also be combined with a lunch of a homemade soup (when possible made from products from our own land), sandwiches, rolls, fresh dairy milk, tea, Beemster apple juice and fresh fruit for 15 Euro per person.
